You will be part of a dynamic team in one of Canada's largest Asset Management (CAM) firms within the Canadian wealth industry. We are looking for energetic, sales-savvy, and client service-oriented individuals to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will work with a Director, Regional Sales within a defined territory to increase market share of CIBC Asset Management with existing clients while developing new business relationships through prospecting. Your primary sales activities will be over the telephone and, when required, face-to-face meetings with clients, as determined by regional events and activities.
Pay Range - $90,000 - $120,000/annum

Business Development: Prospect for new business with Advisors in your territory over the telephone through contacts and follow-ups.
Product Knowledge: Maintain full knowledge of current CAM products, market trends, features, benefits, and investment strategies; periodically deliver product information and business development tools during client meetings with Advisors.
Relationship Building: Strengthen existing business relationships to meet sales targets consistently.
Experience in: Telephone sales within the mutual fund/wealth management industry (asset). Knowledge of current trends in broker/dealer industry, bonds, and capital markets is preferred.
Passionate about people: You value relationships, build trust through respect and authenticity, and maintain a diverse network of partners.
Professional credentials: Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) are preferred.
Educational background: A degree in a related field.
