The Role
Paylidify is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead and grow our Vancouver-based Business Development Representative (BDR) and Sales Development Representative (SDR) team. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Business Development in Vancouver, you will manage inbound and outbound sales efforts, drive pipeline growth, and ensure your team generates high-quality appointments with new SMB customers for Account Executives to meet sales goals. This leadership position is vital in scaling Paylidify's sales organization, nurturing talent, and expanding our customer base. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across various locations.
You Will
- Stay informed about Paylidify's products and services, understanding their value proposition and how they support customer growth
- Train, coach, and develop a team of BDRs and SDRs to meet and exceed performance expectations and quotas
- Manage and prioritize a diverse sales pipeline to accelerate sales cycles
- Utilize sales enablement tools to maintain accurate sales data and documentation, ensuring achievement of monthly targets
- Provide ongoing support, including call coaching, shadow sessions, and pipeline reviews, to motivate the team and improve productivity
- Implement a solutions-based sales approach to create urgency, identify challenges, and deliver tailored value
- Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on results and goal attainment
- Collaborate with Operations, Administration, and Account Executives to align sales strategies and improve onboarding and conversion processes
- Analyze and report team performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement to meet or exceed objectives
- Consistently achieve and surpass monthly sales targets

- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing future sales leaders
- Proven success in building and managing high-performing sales teams, emphasizing lead generation and pipeline management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and deliver feedback
- Experience with sales tools and CRMs to track performance and enhance team effectiveness

Job Criteria
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
