Summary of This Role

Responsible for selling merchant services offerings to businesses. Activities include pricing, customer segmentation, customer presentations, account sign-up and activation, and account management. Primarily field sales to area businesses; some business may be conducted over the phone depending on scale.

What Part Will You Play
  1. Manage a portfolio of clients, typically with an annual net revenue of $425,000 or more. Identify revenue opportunities and prospective clients through face-to-face meetings, calls, marketing, and other activities. Conduct meetings to qualify leads and drive sales pipeline. Respond to customer requests and give online presentations. Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional sales. Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle. Coach and mentor less experienced sales team members to improve product knowledge and achieve revenue goals.
  2. Maintain detailed client records in accordance with company policies using the CRM system, including call notes, scheduled interactions, and contact information. Keep management informed with timely reports.
  3. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of current product and service offerings, as well as industry developments.
