Business Development Manager - Remote - £40K (Plus commission)

I'm recruiting on behalf of my client for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join the sales team. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets within your designated territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and door-to-door sales.
  • Build strong relationships with new potential customers.
  • Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for reaching sales goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in a field sales role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish long-term relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
