Job description

We are currently seeking an innovative, sales-driven, and relationship-oriented Manager of Business Development to join our team in the Ottawa Region. The successful candidate will work closely with the regional team to expand our portfolio of parking facilities and create added value for both existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Implement and refine corporate strategy to strengthen Indigo’s market presence through targeted business development.

Generate leads through cold-calling, networking, and relationship-building with potential clients.

Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and market standards to maintain a competitive advantage.

Support local staff and contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns.

Provide insights to the leadership team on competitive analysis, customer trends, service gaps, and opportunities for growth.

Participate in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for parking management services.

Share insights on effective sales methods, techniques, and tools.

Represent Indigo at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events; responsible for preparation and follow-up.

Perform administrative tasks such as report generation, maintaining business templates, and documentation.

Carry out additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring :

Proven experience in business development or sales; parking industry experience is an asset.

Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on long-term client relationships.

Exceptional skills in lead generation, cold-calling, and negotiation.

Experience in regional or multi-account management (preferred).

Office-based with access to a personal vehicle for regional travel.
