Job description

EPSON Canada is dedicated to providing its customers with digital image innovation. Our main product lines include information-related equipment such as printers, scanners, projectors, home entertainment, and electronic devices. Epson products are known worldwide for their superior quality, functionality, compactness, and energy efficiency.

We are seeking an Account Manager to support our System Device Point of Sale Distribution Channel in Canada, including BlueStar, ScanSource, and MS Cash Drawer. The individual will be responsible for building Epson's top-line sales by meeting and exceeding sales quotas, increasing brand awareness and market penetration, developing and coordinating sales activities with authorized Epson resellers within a defined territory, and managing reseller accounts and relationships.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  1. Meet or exceed sales and product objectives in the territory by effectively utilizing all available resources.
  2. Collaborate with the manager in developing the sales plan.
  3. Establish a strong Epson presence within the account base at decision-maker and management levels.
  4. Interact with internal and external customers to ensure successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
  5. Motivate POS distribution reseller personnel to support Epson sales and marketing efforts.
  6. Identify customer needs and provide solutions using Epson products, programs, and services.
  7. Design and implement marketing programs aligned with corporate strategies to achieve sales quotas within the territory.
  8. Focus marketing funds on programs that achieve desired product mix and ROI, considering impacts on all Epson distribution channels.
  9. Participate in trade shows, reseller seminars, and sales meetings.
  10. Identify sales training needs and conduct training seminars.
  11. Resolve customer issues promptly and thoroughly, escalating as necessary.
  12. Handle administrative tasks such as MDF, forecasting, and status reports.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in computer technology.
  • Post-secondary education.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with decision-makers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the Point of Sale industry is a plus.
