Element Materials Technology Ltd. in Calgary is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand client base across Western Canada, onboarding new accounts and reviving dormant ones within the environmental, oil & gas and agriculture sectors.

You will lead lead generation, negotiations, and close deals while collaborating with Project Management and Lab Operations to ensure a top-tier client experience, travel up to 15% of the time.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of B2B sales experience in a professional environment with monthly targets focused on new lead generation and sales pipeline development.
  • Post secondary education (certificate, diploma, degree) or a combination of relevant experience and supplementary professional development.
  • Clear, confident, and proactive communication to elicit internal cooperation and gain client trust.
  • Motivated and driven to quickly learn about Environmental and Food industries, technical lab knowledge and processes, and Element service offerings.
  • Reliable transportation to meet and exceed mandatory monthly client site visits and ability to travel overnight approximately 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales expansion by identifying and onboarding new clients while re-engaging with dormant accounts across Western Canada.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing strategic and key client accounts to uncover additional growth opportunities and revenue streams.

  • Flexibility to manage day-to-day schedule to meet mandatory monthly client call and site visit requirements.
