Business Development Manager - Greater Toronto Area
$85K base plus bonus

Our client, a manufacturer of building envelope solutions, is currently looking for a Business Development Manager for GTA.


We are looking for candidates with a strong background in the Construction/ building materials industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Understanding client needs and building a strong relationship - selling to builders, contractors, architects, etc.
  2. Business development uses various methods including cold calling, event management, channel partners, social media, etc.
  3. Managing sales quotas/ targets
  4. Reporting on sales activities/ initiatives

Qualifications

  1. University or post-secondary education
  2. Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience - ideally within the construction/ building materials space
  3. Knowledge of the building envelope, and roofing is an asset.
  4. Experience and expertise with contractors and roofers.
  5. Excellent communication skills, target-oriented, customer and solution-driven
  6. Strong knowledge of MS Office, and CRM Systems
