Job Description Position Summary The Business Development Manager supports growth for Home Health by identifying, qualifying, and advancing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing and prospective partners. This role is accountable for building and maintaining relationships with referral sources, funders, community partners, and health system stakeholders; translating client needs into practical solutions; and supporting a disciplined revenue pipeline through CRM documentation, follow-up, and reporting. The Business Development Manager works closely with operational and clinical leaders to support account growth, client satisfaction, and continued positioning of ParaMed as a trusted provider of home and community care solutions.
Technical and Interpersonal Skills Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders. Ability to manage assigned accounts and opportunities independently while knowing when to escalate risks, barriers, or strategic opportunities. Comfortable using CRM data, pipeline reports, and client insights to guide priorities and support decision-making. Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Solutions-oriented approach to addressing client questions, objections, service concerns, and growth opportunities. Collaborative working style with operations, clinical, finance, marketing, and leadership teams. Ability to support contract renewals, proposal development, presentations, and RFP coordination.
