YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER :
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish and grow the company’s presence in Edmonton.
  • Prospect, identify, and secure new customers, accounts, and partnerships in the food and beverage sector, including hotels, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and specialty food service.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, logistics) to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Edmonton clients, providing exceptional service and account management.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food & beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Edmonton food and beverage market, with established industry connections preferred.
