HOPA Ports is seeking an entrepreneurial, solution-based and dynamic individual to join our growing team.
*This role is primarily based out of Niagara at the Thorold Multimodal Hub and will require occasional travel to our Hamilton and Oshawa locations. The initial training period (approximately 3-6 months) will be based at our Hamilton location.*
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be responsible for new and strategic business development and property management related to HOPA’s real estate portfolio and key customers.
You will lead and take ownership of new business development outreach, including identifying prospective customers, cold-calling, and industry research, while at the same time maintaining partnerships with current Port Partners.
Key Responsibilities
Including but not limited to:
Growing our real estate and cargo business by helping existing clients expand and attracting new business opportunities to HOPA owned and managed lands
Negotiating commercial terms and following through on execution of contractual documents
Manage day to day property management activities and foster strong relationships with existing customers
