Business Development Executive

Location : Downtown Toronto, near Union Station

In-office : Full-time, 5 days a week

My client, a global HR software company, is looking for a Business Sales Consultant to join their busy Sales Department.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales within a targeted B2B environment, a proactive approach to lead generation, and the ability to develop innovative strategies to open new sales opportunities.

The Role

  1. Contact business owners to prospect and assess their support needs in HR and Health & Safety fields.
  2. Make at least 80 outbound calls daily and generate a minimum of 3 appointments per day.
  3. Schedule sales opportunities with business owners to promote services using provided leads.
  4. Collaborate with Business Development Managers to generate new business deals and revenue.
  5. Build and manage a sales pipeline daily.

The Person

  • Previous cold calling sales experience
  • High motivation to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Strong drive and hunger to succeed
  • Experience in B2B sales preferred
  • Potential earnings include an OTE of $80,000 in the first year, with potential to earn over $80-90k and $100,000 in subsequent years
  • Transparent commission structure, with weekly, monthly, and quarterly incentives
