We are looking to add a Business Development Analyst to our National Group Insurance Department. This role is based in one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or the Atlantic Region on a permanent full-time basis.

What the Role Entails

As a Business Development Analyst, you will collaborate with the Group Relations team to analyze Group Personal Insurance program data to identify opportunities. You will be proficient in report generation and assist with coordinating events.

  • Expertise in account planning and reporting
  • Work with the Business Development team to develop and improve reports and processes
  • Partner with and gather feedback from users and managers to modernize planning and reporting
  • Maintain up-to-date account plans
  • Manage reports inventory for stakeholders
  • Coordinate project activities and serve as a liaison between IT, end users, and management
  • Participate in departmental projects
  • Assist in preparing business cases, presentations, and summaries
  • Support the team with ad hoc data analysis

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Post-secondary education
  • At least 2 years of relevant Business Analyst experience
  • Strong data analysis and insight-driven improvement skills
  • Experience in P&C Insurance and affinity programs is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Design Thinking and Customer Journey mapping experience is an asset
