Job description

Business Development Analyst (Edmonton, AB)

Equity + Bonus + Massive Growth Opportunity

About Total Life

Total Life is one of the fastest-growing behavioral health platform built for older adults — and we’re on a mission to help people age better, feel better, and live longer. With tens of thousands of sessions delivered and a fast-growing network of health partners, we’re scaling quickly to meet a nationwide need. Named one of Inc. Magazine’s Best in Business, we’re building something bold — and we want entrepreneurial minds to help us grow it.

The Role: Business Development Analyst

We’re hiring a smart, driven, and strategic Business Development Analyst to support the next stage of Total Life’s growth. This is a high-impact role where you’ll work directly with leadership on strategic partnerships, go-to-market planning, sales enablement, and investor relations.

This is the ideal role for someone with 1–3 years in a related industry who wants to get out of the spreadsheet and into the action. You’ll help identify new growth opportunities, close deals, and scale relationships that matter — all while building the internal infrastructure that supports it.

At Total Life, your growth is only limited by your impact. We’re a true meritocracy — promotions aren’t tied to tenure, they’re tied to performance. If you deliver results, take ownership, and drive value, you’ll rise quickly. Many of our senior leaders started in entry or mid-level roles and moved up fast by proving they could lead. Whether you want to own a department, launch a new line of business, or step into a strategic leadership role, this is a place where high performers get real opportunity — fast.

What You’ll Do

  • Support partnership development across partners, health systems, and senior care organizations
  • Create sales materials, pitch decks, and internal strategy docs for meetings and proposals
  • Research market opportunities, build lead pipelines, and track performance
  • Help coordinate and run partnership calls, follow-ups, and deal progression
  • Support go-to-market strategy for new service lines and regions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, clinical, and finance teams
  • Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives to launch new service lines and growth opportunities.
  • Travel to Edmonton and/or partner sites as needed for relationship building

Location

  • Edmonton, Alberta (Please note that remote work will be considered for exceptional candidates with occasional travel to Edmonton)

Job Type

  • Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday)

Who You Are

  • 1-3 years in strategy consulting, investment banking, or business strategy
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented — you love a good plan
  • Clear communicator who can simplify complex ideas
  • Curious and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Analytical mindset with strong research and synthesis skills
  • Passion for health, innovation, and making a real-world impact
  • Bonus: experience in healthcare, aging, or startups

Salary Range

  • $55,000 - 75,000 CAD per year

Why This Role Rocks?

  • Get in early at a company transforming how mental health is delivered
  • Work on high-stakes deals with national implications
  • Learn from a mission-driven, high-performance team
  • Real equity and bonus potential
  • Accelerated career growth with visibility into strategy and execution
