About the Role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development & Account Manager to play a key role in identifying, nurturing, and growing strategic media partnerships. This role bridges business development, account management, and ad operations—making it ideal for a candidate who thrives in a cross-functional, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

  • Identify and qualify high-potential partnership opportunities through inbound inquiries and cold outreach.
  • Define Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • Automate lead generation and outreach processes for scale.
  • Conduct discovery calls and follow-ups to assess partner fit and understand key needs.
  • Gather and analyze partner information including objectives, target markets, tactics, and budgets.
  • Develop customized partnership proposals and lead negotiations.
  • Draft and finalize partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story about Moving2Canada and why we are the right channel.

Relationship Building

  • Cultivate a strong network within relevant industries to generate warm leads and gather competitive insights.
  • Establish trusted relationships with partners, delivering consistent value and support.
  • Attend industry events when necessary.
  • Create and distribute a B2B newsletter to engage and inform partners.

Account Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned partners and accounts.
  • Drive ongoing campaign collaboration including topic ideation and planning.
  • Track and report on performance metrics to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and lead retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate campaign deliverables to align with client objectives and drive measurable results.

Ad Operations

  • Onboard new clients and partners using systems like Salesforce and Asana.
  • Oversee operational setup and tactical execution, including Google ads, emails, and other campaign elements.
  • Track internal inventory and align delivery capacity with campaign requirements.
  • Project Manage the execution of campaigns.

Requirements

  • Proven B2B relationship-building expertise in partnership or affiliate marketing.
  • Experience in media planning and advertising.
  • Primary account ownership with performance reporting and upsell success.
  • Campaign execution including digital ad and email setup.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager and pitch deck creation (Google Slides or PowerPoint).

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Email marketing tools such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, or Beehiiv.
  • Experience drafting and managing agreements/contracts.
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Prospecting tools.
  • WordPress.

Compensation

Total Compensation: Starting Salary $80,000

Structure: Base salary plus performance-based commission. Final package will be based on experience and demonstrated ability to drive results.
