Your Impact :

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. Work closely with the Generator and Critical Power sales team to align strategies, share insights, and provide feedback on lead quality and market trends to optimize the sales process.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Proactive research and identify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking events.
  • Stay updated on power generation, energy storage industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape for commercial and utility scale customers.
  • Evaluate leads to determine their potential value to the company based on predefined criteria such as budget, need, authority, and timeline.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects by understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and providing relevant information to nurture them through the sales funnel.
  • Schedule meetings or product demonstrations between qualified leads and the appropriate sales representatives to further explore opportunities and move prospects closer to conversion.
  • Track and manage leads and opportunities using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and progress.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience with 3 years working in UPS / Generator Industry or Technical Service sales
  • Must be able to work in high stress, high demand environment.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • WoStrong customer orientation
  • Working experience with NetSuite System or similar CRM.
