A leading company in Toronto seeks a Business Data Consultant for the OSFI E-21 regulation initiative. The role involves developing metrics, gathering requirements from business units, and aligning solutions with business strategies. Ideal candidates have a strong background in operational risk, data management, and experience in reporting solutions.
Remote/Hybrid: Hybrid - Onsite Wednesday and Thursday, every first Friday of the month
Office Location: 81 Bay 29th Floor, 31st Floor
Work Schedule (hours per week, start time): 37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Job Description:
- Develop metric for the purposes of reporting and writing reporting requirements which are provided to the tech partners who will build out reports.
- Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Supports one or more highly complex business processes
- Works on multiple projects as a project team member
Must Have Requirement:
- 3+ years' of experience as a Business Data Consultant
- Has operational risk and resilience knowledge and experience working with data
- Experience with reporting solution design
- 3+ years' experience developing metrics (KPIs & KRIs)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft suite
Nice to Have:
- Regulatory experience would be an asset
- Prior Banking experience preferred
- PowerBI experience
