Qualifications

  • Experience in Banking/Finance Risk (ERM, Market/Stress Testing, or Credit Risk).
  • Strong BCBS-239 experience – must-have.
  • Business/data analysis, governance, and risk reporting expertise.
  • Skilled in Excel & PowerPoint; strong communication & stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Execute transformation for BCBS-239 regulatory/risk reports, aligned with Data Governance Policy.
  • Define scope, critical data elements, and data quality gaps with stakeholders.
  • Document/analyze data lineage, flows, metadata, and dictionaries.
  • Identify/control data quality hot spots, recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate across global ERM/risk teams.
  • Support use case tracking, Agile documentation, and milestone reporting.

Overview

Job Title: Business Data Analyst – ERM Data Transformation

Location: Mississauga, ON (2–3 days onsite)

Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)

About the Role

Hands-on role (not leadership/advisory) supporting ERM Data Leads on Consent Order (Article IV (5)) and BCBS-239 risk reporting. Focus on data governance, risk reporting, data lineage, quality remediation, and building sustainable reporting/data architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Execute transformation for BCBS-239 regulatory/risk reports, aligned with Data Governance Policy.
  • Define scope, critical data elements, and data quality gaps with stakeholders.
  • Document/analyze data lineage, flows, metadata, and dictionaries.
  • Identify/control data quality hot spots, recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate across global ERM/risk teams (London, Dublin, Mississauga).
  • Support use case tracking, Agile documentation, and milestone reporting.
