JOB SUMMARY:

To lead the Business Control processes for Epiroc Product company and Customer Center in Canada (YieldPoint Brand). Act as a "co-pilot" to the General Manager. Responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies, controls, and procedures, operational reporting, and ensuring compliance with group guidelines. Liaise with management at divisional and group levels. Work with IT to automate processes, secure information, and reduce costs. Serve as the main contact between operations and Epiroc CoE hub.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and submit financial reports in compliance with HQ and regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability reviews.
  • Manage cash flow planning and reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls to protect assets.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax laws, and policies.
  • Coordinate audits and support documentation and follow-up.
  • Participate in annual testing of financial controls.
Inventory & Cost Control
  • Oversee inventory processes, audits, and discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory trends and obsolete stock, and recommend actions.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to optimize inventory and costs.
Process & Policy Development
  • Develop and maintain financial and operational policies.
  • Identify inefficiencies and lead improvements.
  • Align with HQ standards and local needs.
Strategic & Operational Support
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare investment proposals and business cases.
  • Participate in business reviews and reporting.
  • Coordinate with HQ finance and IT teams on systems and data integrity.
Internal Qualifications:

Maintain high accounting knowledge (FAM, IFRS, GAAP) and understand products, market, sales, and regulations.
