Job Summary

The IT Investment Solutions Group at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) is seeking an experienced individual for a permanent, full-time IT Business Consultant role on the SimCorp Dimension team. This team primarily develops solutions within the SimCorp Dimension application, supporting core Investment Operations, Investment Accounting, and Reporting functions. You will work on various initiatives with stakeholders across front, mid, and back office, delivering impactful solutions that influence HOOPP’s performance. This role offers exposure to diverse aspects of the organization, providing valuable learning opportunities about HOOPP’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and support Portfolio Management and Investment Accounting solutions in SimCorp Dimension
• Engage in system configuration, testing, implementation, and support across multiple asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, Credit, etc.)
• Identify opportunities to enhance solutions, optimize workflows, and automate manual processes
• Collaborate within a high-performing, agile team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
• Mentor and develop junior team members
• Work closely with HOOPP business partners and other teams within the Investment Solutions Group
• Support the Product Owner and contribute to the strategic roadmap for the SimCorp ecosystem

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with the SimCorp Dimension application, including configuration, testing, and implementation, especially with modules like IBOR, ABOR, and Trade Manager
• Deep knowledge of investment products, trade lifecycle, investment accounting, and reporting data points
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and contribute to solution design, analysis, testing, and support
• Proven leadership in building trust and mentoring analysts
• Strong project delivery skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage milestones
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and vendor interactions
• Problem-solving and consulting expertise
• SQL knowledge is advantageous
• Experience working in agile environments
• Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science; certifications like CMA, CFA, or CPA are assets
