Merative is now searching for a Business Consultant to join our team!

As a Business Consultant on the Merative Services team, you will have significant responsibility in the delivery of Curam project implementations.

Working closely with clients, systems integration partners, and Merative teams at our project sites, you will be responsible for providing business architecture guidance and acting as a subject matter expert (SME) and advisor in support of the delivery of Case Management solutions using the Curam platform.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Advise and guide the project team on the appropriate usage of Cúram features and functionalities to meet business objectives.
  • Mentor and advise project resources and client leadership on business solution design and innovative possibilities to meet client objectives.
  • Lead strategic discussions on requirements elaboration and business architecture solutions.
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops with stakeholders to ensure needs are understood and Curam features are leveraged effectively.
  • Contribute to the overall product vision, backlog, and communicate the business solution design, including configurations, extensions, and integrations.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical staff and client SMEs during solution design, prototyping, delivery, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Build trust and confidence with partners and clients regarding proposed solutions.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the business solutions design team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Business (IT) systems analyst/consulting role.
  • Experience in requirement management, design, and development support activities.
  • Experience creating and presenting screen designs, storyboards, user journey maps, and flow diagrams.
  • Experience leading Design Thinking or JAD sessions.
  • Experience working with Agile and remote/complex delivery teams.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% annually.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in public sector/government, especially in human services programs like social welfare, children services, income support, or employment services.
  • Familiarity with the Cúram platform.
  • Ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis.
  • Experience conducting design thinking workshops.
  • Canadian Reliability Security Clearance.
  • CBAP/TOGAF or similar certifications.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Residency in Canada for 5+ years to obtain government clearance.
