In Workday Adaptive Planning, you will focus on delivering consulting services for workforce and financial planning solutions. Your responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Adaptive Planning. This enables clients to optimize FP&A processes, improve reporting, and achieve strategic objectives.

As a Business Application Consulting, Workday Finance and Adaptive Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to resolve business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing and identifying the linkages and interactions within complex systems.
  2. Owning projects from planning through execution and completion.
  3. Partnering with leadership to ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  4. Developing skills beyond your comfort zone and encouraging team growth.
  5. Mentoring colleagues and reviewing work to deepen expertise.
  6. Addressing conflicts and engaging in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders.
  7. Analyzing financial planning, workforce planning, and reporting processes for improvements.
  8. Simplifying processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs and cycle times.
  9. Managing client engagements, preparing documentation, and balancing project economics.
  10. Learning and performing in technical and functional areas such as system implementations, software configurations, and data analysis.

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • Degree in accounting, finance, operations, or business administration with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience with EPM solutions like Adaptive Planning, Oracle PBC, IBM Cognos TM1, Anaplan, OneStream, Tagetik, Vena.
  • Hands-on experience leading Adaptive Planning and Workday reporting implementations.
  • Interest in digital tools, technology trends, and continuous learning.
  • Consulting experience in finance planning, workforce planning, reporting, and financial consolidation.
  • Understanding of process improvement, chart of accounts, and financial systems optimization.
  • Upholding professional standards, conduct, and independence.
  • Guiding teams in strategic planning and managing large, complex projects.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Preferred experience with ERP systems like Workday, SAP, Oracle.
  • Certifications such as Workday Pro or Reporting certifications are a plus.
  • Travel up to 20% depending on client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position in BC is $103,000 to $171,800 CAD annually, plus potential bonuses. Actual salary depends on skills, experience, and location. We are committed to competitive pay and transparency.
