Dream is looking for a Business Application Analyst.

We’re seeking a Business Application Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role involves supporting a wide range of applications to positively impact our systems, staff, and stakeholders. As part of our Infrastructure & Technology Operations group, you’ll provide top-tier computing services to our employees. Alongside our Dream Support Centre, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve various application issues to ensure the best user experience.

Our goal is to deliver optimal user experience by ensuring our applications enable effective job performance. We are continuously upgrading and refining our initiatives to meet evolving business needs. We aim to stay at the forefront of technology to support Dream’s growth. We need a strong Business Application Analyst—are you ready?

What will you do?

You will manage systems relied upon by our five business lines daily. Your responsibilities include:

  • Being the primary contact for issue resolution, communication with departments, and end users;
  • Managing the full lifecycle of support calls, including troubleshooting and resolution;
  • Leading planning, design, development, deployment, and post-deployment of enhancements and new applications;
  • Analyzing issues and proposing preventive solutions;
  • Developing detailed documentation for new applications or features and ensuring adherence to Change Management procedures;
  • Following standards, policies, procedures, and checklists to ensure consistency and high customer satisfaction;
  • Collaborating with business users to develop UAT test scripts;
  • Establishing SLAs and managing request delivery to meet or exceed them;
  • Partnering with development teams for efficient resolutions;
  • Identifying training opportunities and working with our Training Coordinator on documentation and curricula;
  • Enforcing policies to ensure quality and audit compliance; and
  • Providing after-hours support when necessary.

What qualifications are needed?

Key qualifications include:

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering, or equivalent work experience in IT, Accounting, or Real Estate;
  • At least 5 years’ experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x applications, including modules like Real Estate Management, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, etc. Experience with HomeBuilder, Hyphen Solutions, Coupa, DocuSign, Versapay, and RPA is a plus;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with JDE and ERP setup/testing;
  • Experience developing functional specifications for ERP applications;
  • Problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective actions;
  • Team collaboration experience;
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Self-motivated with minimal supervision;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Quick learner of new applications;
  • Comfort engaging at all organizational levels;
  • Creative and critical thinking regarding processes and security.
