Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY :

In this role, you will drive the rollout of Workday Scheduling to various locations of The Salvation Army across Canada & Bermuda, and help uncover new requirements to improve capacity planning, operational efficiency, and employee-facing processes.

You will collaborate with front-line managers, HR partners, IT, and Sr. Analysts to ensure smooth implementation.

This is a temporary, full-time contract for 6–9 months, offering opportunities for growth and learning.

Accountabilities

  • Plan and coordinate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to surface needs and pain points
  • Maintain email / Teams communications with stakeholders
  • Assist in preparing and distributing clear, relevant communications
  • Coordinate configuration activities (shift patterns, scheduling rules), keeping the project on track for each location
  • Manage the Workday Scheduling Setup Process from initiation to launch for each location
  • Maintain Scheduling Community of Interest Teams Channel under guidance
  • Assist in drafting plans and playbooks for end-user rollout and training; support training delivery if needed
  • Lead small improvement projects: identify quick wins, create action plans, and execute

Education, Experience And Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in planning, coordination, or Business Analyst roles; Scheduling or Workforce Management experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for agendas, updates, and rollout plans
  • Excellent planning skills: building and tracking project plans, identifying risks, and meeting milestones
  • Effective facilitation: requirements gathering, managing meetings, and documenting next steps
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and reprioritize as needed
  • Team-oriented with a helpful attitude; organized and proactive
  • Experience with scheduling/time-tracking systems (Workday, Kronos, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Workday
  • Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools for task management

Compensation

The target hourly rate is $50 to $60. Salary placement depends on market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
