The Treasury CFO group provides finance services to CIBC’s businesses through effective governance and decision support processes. These services include financial, management and regulatory reporting, maintenance of accounting records, financial analysis and planning, tax planning and compliance, treasury, investor relations, and regular reviews of business line performance.
As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in Finance’s process improvement program, development of new or existing Treasury, Capital Markets, and Wholesale Banking initiatives, and assisting Middle Office analysts in maintaining existing processes and developing new reports and testing new systems or databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Depending on the project, you may also support Front Office, Risk Management, and Finance, and interact with business partners at all levels. You will participate in team meetings and are encouraged to provide input on process improvements.

You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and planning to return to full-time studies after the term. You do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered.

You are a university student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Major in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics preferred but not required.
Work location details will be provided at the interview. All employees must work within their current jurisdiction and reside in Canada.
