Role: Business Analyst

Start date: Jul 15, 2024

End date: Mar 31, 2025

Location of Work (Address or City, Province): Halifax

Remote Work be considered? Hybrid, 2 days on-site in Halifax per week.

Description: On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Business Analyst to work on a major SAP Modernization program.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain Business Process Hierarchy (BPH) in Solution Manager and align with Azure DevOps.
2. Revise process models and create new S/4 HANA process models as needed.
3. Participate in functional area scrum meetings.
4. Maintain expertise in business processes for assigned functional areas.
5. Identify and prioritize changes needed for BPH.
6. Adhere to S/4 HANA process modeling standards.
7. Assist with creation and maintenance of Open Text, GRC, SAC process models, when applicable.
8. Identify functional interdependencies where applicable.
9. Support Business Leads and Specialists in respective process areas.

Mandatory Skill set and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP project delivery and/or as an SAP business analyst.
• Experience working in an agile IT project environment.
• Knowledge of integration points within the SAP ecosystem.
• Good understanding of ECC to S/4 HANA system process modeling, Business Process Modeling Notation, and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Desirable Skill Set and Experience:

• S/4HANA certifications in one or more functional areas and/or technologies.
• SAP architectural experience.
• Knowledge of 3 or more SAP modules (Finance, Funds Management, Procurement/Ariba, Inventory Management, Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management, GRC).
• Experience with process management in Solution Manager.
• Knowledge or experience in methodologies such as project management, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, and change management (PROSCI).
