Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst, Public Markets Solutions you will:

• Be a key contributor to digital business solution planning and delivery roadmap regarding analytics and operations suites solutions.
• Play a key role in support maintenance, incident resolution, problem solving and continuous improvements regarding the analytics and operations suites solutions.
• Play a frontline role liaising between IT and business partners in terms of financial requirements translation into user stories and/or IT technical specifications.
• Act as a BI Specialist by setting up and optimizing Power BI reports.
• Take ownership of complex problem-analysis assignments, recommend efficient solutions and be an enabler of their implementation.
• Take ownership of functional interface specifications.
• Be a key contributor to solution design and ensure alignment with business goals and requirements.
• Take a lead role in the testing lifecycle (Regression, Integrated and UAT testing).
• Facilitate and/or contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for new enhancements from planning, analysis, design, development, testing and implementation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in finance or computer science and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial investment industry, especially in public markets, is a crucial asset.
• Financial certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a strong asset.
• 5+ years of experience in business and system analysis in financial investment applications and/or BI/analytics solutions.
• Proficient with Power BI.
• Proficient with SQL tools for data analysis and mining.
• Ability in messaging in XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Working knowledge of Windows, MS SQL Server.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
