TD is offering a Co-op/Internship in Business Banking Operations in Markham, Ontario. The program provides exposure to strategy refinement, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration with TD’s leadership.

It targets undergrad students and includes structured development opportunities and a community of TD students. The role runs January 2027 to April 2027 (4 months), with standard 37.5 hour weeks and a compensation range of CAD 45,700 to 74,400 per year.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of returning to school for the work term.
  • Solid interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build relationships.
  • Ability to work in teams with multiple stakeholders and influence others.
  • Analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo.
  • Understanding of Scaled Agile project methodology would be an asset.
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and process optimization fundamentals would be an asset.

  • Contribute to the refinement of the Business Banking Operations Strategy and on-going monitoring activities.
  • Support delivery of strategy enablers required to mature the Business Banking Operations.
  • Work with leaders on the Business Banking Operations team to establish and update team overview homepages.
  • Participate in process improvement conversations to help discover and socialize optimization enhancements to existing process and tools.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement nature of the Business Banking Operations team through timely feedback, knowledge sharing and collaborating with other team members.

Job Description

Business Banking Operations plays a critical role in supporting our client facing business lines and internal partners across a multitude of operational functions across Business Banking. We are focused on achieving the Business Banking "Quest" by seeking ways to deliver value faster, modernize our operations and enhance the colleague experience.

Job Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Solid interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to effectively work in teams with multiple stakeholders and to influence and align others
  • Excellent analytical skills in assessing risk, issues and challenging the status quo
  • Understanding and ability to apply the principles of the Scaled Agile project methodology would be an asset
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma and process optimization fundamentals would be an asset

  • Must be available for a 4 month work term (January 4th, 2027 - April 23rd, 2027)
  • TD requires employees to reside in the country where the role is located, irrespective of remote working arrangements
