Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Business Analysts with a strong background in Healthcare IT to join our team on short-term assignments ranging from 3 to 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the Canadian healthcare system. The successful candidates will work across clinical domains to help define, document, and support solutions related to patient appointment booking and order management workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using tools such as user stories, use cases, and sequence diagrams.
2. Translate complex regulatory and compliance documents into actionable business requirements.
3. Support solution design, system configuration, and implementation across healthcare IT platforms.
4. Participate in agile ceremonies and use tools like Jira and Confluence for documentation and tracking.
5. Analyze and improve workflows, particularly in patient appointment booking and hospital order management systems.
6. Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and up to date.
7. Identify, assess, and resolve potential issues in business processes or documentation.

1. Patient Appointment Booking

1. Configuration of booking slots, provider schedules, and resource availability.
2. Support for front-end functionalities: booking, canceling, rescheduling, group appointments.
3. Understanding of data capture and reporting needs for appointment-related KPIs.

2. Procedure and Medication Order Flows

1. Focus on order flows in hospital, clinic, and outpatient settings.
2. Documentation of typical and exception workflows for order fulfillment.
3. Strong grasp of procedural and medication order lifecycles within healthcare environments.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Clinical Informatics, or System Analyst in the healthcare domain.
2. Deep knowledge of Healthcare and Healthcare IT systems (excluding insurance systems).
3. Familiarity with Canadian healthcare environments and standards.
4. Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and clinical audiences.
5. Experience interpreting regulatory guidelines and integrating them into system requirements.
6. Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
7. Exceptional attention to detail with a pragmatic understanding of business constraints.
8. Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
