We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with expertise in the finance domain. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. The successful candidate will analyze and interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making within the organization.
This role also involves responsibilities related to UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) administration, requiring proficiency in HR and workforce management systems.
The Business Analyst will report to the Vice President, Enterprise Applications & PMO.
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements, translating and documenting them into comprehensive business, functional, and technical specifications.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to lead, assist, or manage the implementation of configurations, development, quality assurance (QA), and user acceptance testing (UAT), project planning, execution, and post-implementation reviews, ensuring successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement by analyzing financial data and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Conduct research and impact analysis on proposed initiatives and solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the HRIS system, managing configurations, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to end-users, including post-merger integration projects for divisions transitioning to the corporate HRIS.
- Support internal clients on day-to-day and strategic initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting finance and HR domains, sharing insights and recommendations proactively.
What skills, experience, and education are we looking for?
- Experience leading or participating in an ERP digital transformation.
- Experience with General Ledger (GL), Sub-Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, Transits, Business Units, Legal Entities.
- Experience analyzing data and file interface specifications.
- Experience with reconciliation processes and rule definition.
- Experience supporting finance systems with multi-site, multinational capabilities.
- Experience supporting HRIS, including payroll systems.
- Experience with BAAN LN, Infor ERPs, UKG, and OneStream is an asset.
- Support the maintenance of HR data integrity, conduct system audits, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop standardized processes, dashboards, and reports for ongoing use.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with multiple stakeholders.
- University degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business System Analyst within the Finance domain.
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems and understanding of cross-functional system integration impacts.
