Job description

On behalf of our Valued Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Business Analyst, ERP Supply Chain to join our Client's team on a Contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.

Summary of the Role:
The Business Analyst, ERP Supply Chain will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful data readiness and migration within an ERP implementation. Supporting the supply chain function, this individual will assist in transitioning data from existing systems into the new ERP environment, emphasizing accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Support data extraction, transformation, and migration from legacy ERP systems to the new platform.
  2. Liaise between technical teams and business users to align migration efforts with business needs.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data is clean, accurate, and complete before migration.
  4. Address data-related issues and ensure high-quality standards across the supply chain migration.
  5. Participate in data profiling, validation, and UAT processes, including creation of support documentation.

Core Requirements:

  1. Applied University Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  2. 7+ years of experience in ERP-related data readiness and migration, particularly for supply chain.
  3. Experience with high-volume data management and resolution of data issues.
  4. Familiarity with supply chain ERP systems in mining, manufacturing, or similar industries.
  5. Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint (O365), and ETL tools such as Syniti.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  1. Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics ERP migrations.
  2. Background in change management for ERP data implementations.
  3. Knowledge of data migration strategies and methodologies.
  4. Spanish language fluency.
  5. Experience with ERP supply chain modules such as procurement and inventory.

Terms:
This is a 12-month contract role with a hybrid work arrangement. Specific onsite/offsite scheduling is to be determined. The position is based in Vancouver. Reference checks will be required as part of the hiring process.
