A leading tech consultancy in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Business Analyst - Ecommerce to help define user requirements and manage stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and experience with Jira. The role involves assisting in the development of user stories and ensuring that systems meet user needs. This position offers an opportunity to work on impactful IT projects.

Job description

The scope of Business Analyst - Ecommerce will include salesforce marketing journeys, and other salesforce platforms, or systems. The immediate scope is for Quick Win levers, but further scope to include Medium and Long Term levers to be identified which can include changes to processes and implementation of new systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Elicit user stories and requirements from stakeholder groups.
  • Assist stakeholders to articulate the acceptance criteria, the definition of done.
  • Assist in breaking down the requirements into tasks into a work plan for the different parties to deliver the work.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and establish consensus across multiple stakeholders and 3rd party groups.
  • Manage traceability of the user stories and requirements, capture the changes, context, and agreement of the changes.
  • Help ensure the delivery of systems or processes meet the user stories and requirements.
  • May assist with coordination of UAT and testing

What you need to have:

  • Agile and Scrum background.
  • Knowledge and practical use of Jira.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and waterfall processes.
  • Experience in IT projects.
