Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the Downstream Digital Transformation Division.

The DSDT supports downstream administrative areas within the digital capabilities pillar. Your primary role will be to detail all business requirements for downstream digital solutions. You will actively participate in solution design stages, contributing to ideation, design sprints, and user interviews. Your responsibilities include synthesizing information and end-user requirements to define features and functionalities, as well as assisting in designing target customer journeys. You will serve as the Project Management Office and steering committee member for digital projects, identifying synergies between different digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Identify and document business requirements for downstream digital solutions.
  • Participate in solution ideation, design sprints, and user interviews to gather and synthesize information.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and existing solutions in the market.
  • Assist the product owner in detailing features and user stories, ensuring they are well-prepared for design and development.
  • Translate end-user requirements into features and functionalities, documenting them in industry-standard formats.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure user stories are ready for design and development.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized and accredited program, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas downstream sector, including at least 10 years in developing digital solutions.
