MISSION
We are looking for a results-driven Business Analyst (Intermediate) with strong skills in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI to join our new Consumer Insights team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, building scalable reporting solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business with an emphasis on consumer centric measurement and insights.

Functional
Write complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from Snowflake and other data sources.Develop and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders, ensuring high usability and performance.Collaborate with business partners on our loyalty team and others to translate operational needs into analytical requirements.Conduct data profiling and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy in reports.Support ongoing data integration projects by working closely with data engineering and IT teams.Analyze trends, identify key insights, and present findings to business leaders in a clear and actionable format.Document logic, data definitions, and report structures for reuse and knowledge sharing.Act as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processesProactively identify and anticipate customer expectations and needsEmbrace and seek out technology that creates high tech and high touch solutions for Indigo’s customersChallenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve themPeople

Work Experience / Education / Certifications
3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or BI Analyst role.Strong proficiency in SQL (window functions, CTEs, joins, aggregations).Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.Previous experience in retail, loyalty, digital, or related field considered an assetExperience with Power Query / M or Python for data preparation as assetUse of AI-Driven solutions to automate traditional BI tasks considered an assetFamiliarity with other BI tools like Tableau or Looker considered an assetKnowledge of data governance, data cataloging, and lineage tools.Competencies / Skills / Attributes
Advanced skills in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visual design best practices.Hands-on expertise in Excel and PowerPoint with executive grade data visualizationSolid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile or hybrid project environment.Excellent communication skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate / negotiate with various stakeholdersExceptional organizational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentHighly customer centric approach to all initiatives
