Business Analyst/Data Analyst with Capital Market

Data Analysis
Analyze incoming data sets and develop detailed requirements around sourcing solutions, identify provisioning requirements, data transformations, etc.
Able to decipher compliance and information security guidelines and apply them in the context of the datasets/business requirements.
Identify data accuracy requirements, solution options, and remediation plans in case of a breach.

Communication and Planning
Participate in reviews or inspections, in collaboration with the project team, to ensure the quality of the deliverables.
Participate in user acceptance testing, implementation planning, post-implementation validations, and L2 production incident analysis as needed.
Manage risks, assumptions, and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties.

Must Have Skills

Strong business domain understanding of Financial Services/Capital Markets, excellent data analysis, and solid background dealing with complex software products.
Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, and manage deadlines while multi-tasking amongst different priorities.
10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects.
Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative, and/or Agile.
Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation.
Data analysis expertise (e.g., using SQL, Tableau, Python).
