Job description

Retail and Small Business Models, Analytics & Strategy develops and owns (end-to-end) the Bank’s Retail AIRB Capital Forecasting and Retail Decisioning Models (Originations, Account Management, Collections).

Skill Requirements :

  • 5+ years’ experience in business analysis, requirements gathering / interpretation, process mapping, data mapping.
  • Strong experience in Risk Management with some understanding of capital / IFRS9 parameters (models being built) and interpreting existing models (e.g., "Probability of Default" or "PD", "Loss Given Default" or "LGD", "Exposure at Default" or "EAD").
  • Expert-level skills with business productivity software (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, MS Teams, Lists).
  • Understanding of data governance / data lineage fundamentals and processes.
  • Intermediate SQL skills, capable of writing queries (joins, summaries, etc.).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with credit risk models / scorecards.
  • Understanding of statistical prediction, estimation, and forecasting models.
  • Domain expertise in retail & small business banking products and risk management practices.
  • Programming experience (Python, SAS).

You will work closely under the direction of the Regulatory Capital team, leveraging your analytical skills to support Regulatory Capital Modelling initiatives, including :

  • Planning and managing initiatives.
  • Mapping and re-engineering key processes, data flows, and business rules.
  • Translating concepts into algorithms and designing implementation solutions aligned with business needs and regulatory policies.

This role supports critical activities in the Capital models space and contributes to regulatory and transformational initiatives.

You will collaborate daily with a wide range of stakeholders including Model Developers, Project Management Office, Technology & Data teams, Finance, Model Operations, and challenge functions.

Soft Skills :

  • Proven problem-solving skills, technological implementation experience, and sound judgment.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written): ability to simplify complex processes, requirements, and data into clear documentation and analysis, and communicate technical needs effectively.
  • Ability to work remotely and on-site, managing multiple activities and meeting deadlines.
