This Business Analyst - BI role involves understanding and documenting processes, needs, and translating those needs into technical specifications. It works closely with business teams and technical teams to design and deploy effective BI solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze, understand, and document existing processes and Business Intelligence (BI) needs.
  • Define and write documentation deliverables such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), as well as various other documents like mappings, ETL transformations, test cases, business process procedures, solution, and data documentation.
  • Actively contribute to writing the Technical Requirements Document (TRD).
  • Facilitate and follow up on workshops and meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Analyze, propose solutions, and contribute to resolving BI-related issues.
  • Analyze, model, and document business processes and procedures.
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of data necessary for defining and evolving our BI products.
  • Manage the demand process from needs definition to change implementation, including functional analysis and testing. Manage and prioritize the backlog in consultation with the manager.
  • Coordinate the activities of various IT teams for incident and problem resolution, as well as providing necessary support to stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in planning and prioritizing initiatives, activities, and projects in Business Intelligence.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence.
  • 3 to 6 years of professional experience as Business Analyst .
  • Mastery of data warehousing modeling as well as ETL and DataLake concepts.
  • Experience in developing BI solutions in Microsoft environments (SQLServer, SSIS, PowerBI, Azure).
  • Knowledge of SnowFlake and AWS SDLF.
  • Knowledge of the DevOps approach.
  • Previous experience in a Scrum team for structuring BI projects.
  • Demonstrates initiative and innovation.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal relations, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken (mandatory) .
