Job Description

The MRAS Business Analyst will :

  • Consult with the ServiceOntario business / policy area to document the business requirements for Phases 2 & 3 — Send and Receive notifications.
  • Liaise with the Systemscope vendor to clarify / confirm information requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and I&IT groups to develop requirements for system-generated notifications from OBR to other jurisdictions.

Skills and Responsibilities

Resource Responsibility Will Include :

  • Identifying opportunities to optimize initiatives considering evidence-based approaches.
  • Facilitating workshops and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Evaluating complex information and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Developing environmental scans, business cases, and trend analysis for strategic planning.
  • Developing and maintaining system design documents such as use cases and data models.
  • Working with Development and QA teams to ensure accurate system requirements implementation.

Additional Skills :

Business Analysis — 30%

  • Experience in Agile methodologies and API-based applications.

Data, Analytics, and Measures — 25%

  • Designing performance measurement frameworks and using data visualization tools like MS Excel and PowerBI.

Relationships and Influence — 20%

  • Building relationships and managing consultations with stakeholders.

Problem Solving — 10%

  • Leading business case development and risk assessments.

Facilitation and Communication — 10%

  • Facilitating workshops and effective communication with diverse groups.

Public Sector Experience — 5%

  • Experience with Public Sector ITIL processes and Ontario Public Sector project management.

Must Have

  • 5+ years experience in Business Analysis.
