Responsibilities :
- Partner with Legal & Compliance stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements-asking thoughtful, targeted questions to uncover pain points, dependencies, and desired outcomes.
- Leverage business analysis tools and techniques to support enterprise Legal systems, identifying workflow inefficiencies and implementing enhancements to streamline operations and reduce risk.
- Provide day-to-day production support for SaaS-based Legal platforms, managing support tickets, resolving user issues, and coordinating with vendor partners to address system-related challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams (Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Product) to ensure alignment across requirements, integrations, and solution delivery.
- Contribute to requirement mapping, backlog grooming, and documentation efforts to support team planning and decision-making.
- Work closely with the Legal T&O team to support diverse initiatives, demonstrating agility in taking on various responsibilities to maintain project momentum.
- Conduct data analysis and apply critical thinking to support continuous improvement and help realize meaningful business outcomes.
Role-Specific Accountabilities :
- Provide ongoing operational and technical support for key Legal applications, including Contracts, E-Billing, Conflict Checks & Restricted List, and Personal Trading platforms.
- Assist in developing and refining user stories and functional requirements; support backlog management and roadmap planning.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and external vendor partners, ensuring requirements are clearly communicated, risks are escalated, and value is delivered iteratively.
- Participate in end-to-end testing and validation processes to confirm new features and enhancements meet business expectations and maintain system integrity
Skills Must have :
- 6-8 years experience with financial services, investment industry, preferably in the Legal and Compliance business functions.
- Proven ability to liaise with business subject matters in gathering of business requirements, lead testing initiatives. Experience with some hands on testing is an added advantage /
- High attention to detail, solid understanding of project life cycle, and the capability to apply best practices knowledge to unique and dynamic situations.
- Experience with Agile Scrum / Kanban processes, and work management tools : JIRA, Confluence
- Ability to adjust communication style to present technical and non-technical information to a wide variety of stakeholders.
