Our client in Downtown Toronto, ON, a leader in their field, is seeking an analytical and driven Business Analyst to join their team on a 1-year contract with the strong potential to convert to a permanent role after 6 months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years of experience to take the next step in their career, working in a high-impact, fast-paced environment focused on GICs, mutual funds, and process improvement.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: $45 to $55/hour
• Please note, this role will be hybrid (2 times a week at the client’s downtown Toronto Location). Monday and Thursday.
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements related to GICs and mutual funds and develop insightful process maps
• Collaborate across departments to align stakeholders and facilitate efficient project delivery
• Identify process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes
• Prepare presentations and reports using advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Support ongoing investment delivery initiatives and ensure timely execution
• Maintain a high sense of urgency and ability to recognize and act on business priorities

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial products (GICs, mutual funds)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and general MS Office tools
• Demonstrated ability to bring people together, facilitate collaboration, and articulate complex ideas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Undergraduate Degree required (Business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
