Business Analyst

Location – Mississauga, ON

Your role within the team:
  • The Business Analyst, reporting directly to the Director, AI and Automation, will support specific aspects within the Digital Solutions team.
  • Identify business needs and bridge the gap between data, technology, and strategic decision-making.
  • Review existing business processes, systems, and operations; analyze data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in developing project scope and deliverables through high-quality analysis, documenting business requirements and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Support the selection, implementation, operation, and support of new software applications.
  • Optimize and streamline practices and procedures to enhance performance through digital tool implementation, including redesigning and improving processes, operations, and systems.
  • Develop and write operating instructions, training documentation, and support implementation.
  • Assist with training during implementation phases, including developing training materials.
  • Support tool transition activities, including migration planning.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders: internal clients, global entities, suppliers, and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in implementing and modifying business applications.
  • Knowledge of business application development, testing, and maintenance.
  • Experience with data integration technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerBI).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in project forecasting, budgeting, and tracking.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Understanding of engineering design processes and Quality Assurance programs relevant to the nuclear industry.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is an asset.
