We’re looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Business Architecture team, supporting enterprise-wide initiatives that drive operational efficiency, technology modernization, and strategic alignment. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, entrepreneurial, and energized by solving complex business problems. You’ll work alongside business architects, product managers, and operational leads, to map out how the organization works today – and help shape its future architectural direction. We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting the dots between strategy, technology and operations, has a passion for turning ambiguity into structure, and is eager to influence how new solutions are designed, integrated and delivered.

This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking to build foundational experience that can lead to roles in product management, strategy or enterprise design. You’ll gain exposure to early-stage ideation capability modelling, and requirements gathering that inform how products, processes and platforms are shaped and help Financial Advisors conduct better business.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct competitive research to assess external programs, pricing models, and business capabilities contributing to strategic benchmarking and recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of future state business architecture through identifying gaps, impacts, and opportunities for process optimization
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify and communicate business and technical requirements – Using user stories, diagrams, visuals and detailed analysis
  • Analyze and map business capabilities, processes and value streams to align initiatives with enterprise goals
  • Provide analysis and visualizations that support prioritization, and enterprise strategic roadmap development
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring business solutions are delivered on time, effectively tested, and meet required quality standards

What You Will Bring

  • 2 to 4 years experience in a Business Analyst focused role.
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of the wealth management landscape, specifically IIROC regulated programs, products and systems
  • A critical thinker that has attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Work well in a rapidly changing environment yet understands the importance of responsible change management when effecting change.
  • Self-starter who is innovative and accepting of and open to learning new ideas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business Analyst certification an asset.
  • CSC or IFC certification an asset.

Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Toronto and London.

The base salary for this position is between $53,200 - $83,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
