Overview
Business Affairs Manager (1 year contract) — Courage Inc. is looking for an experienced Talent & Traffic Manager to cover a 1 year maternity leave contract. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Draft non-union talent agreements
- Negotiate renewal fees with agents / prepare talent estimates
- Process payments
- Insure talent with WSIB or Worksafe BC
- Track usage for talent / music / image rights
- Process any talent related invoices
- Submit scripts, product specifications and request approvals through telecaster, ASC and Extreme Reach
- Commercial IDs
- Assist with creative upload to distribution vendors
- Coordinate / traffic with media agencies to ensure spots are delivered on time
- Support the account team with digital trafficking by filling in trafficking sheets with creative copy
- Link the assets to the trafficking sheets
- Setup new vendors
- Pay invoices
- Coordinate with production and accounts to ensure that all talent related responsibilities are handled
- Problem solving
- Familiarity with G-Suite (Gmail, G-Sheets, etc)
- Not required but preferred : Familiarity with Extreme Reach / Yangaroo; ThinkTV, ASC, Extreme Reach Clearances
Qualifications
- Experience in talent management and traffic (broadcast and / or digital)
- Base experience in either broadcast or digital trafficking
- Strong organization and coordination skills
- Ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in G-Suite
