Job summary

Alignerr seeks experienced MBAs to help train and evaluate AI models, stress-testing reasoning across corporate finance, market strategy, operations and organizational behavior. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role with 10–40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate holds an MBA from an accredited institution, demonstrates deep expertise in at least two business disciplines, and can synthesize data into executive recommendations with precision and analytical rigor.

Responsibilities

• Design Complex Business Challenges: develop case studies, quantitative problems, and strategic scenarios including DCF, market entry, supply chain, cap table modeling, and org behavior.
• Author Gold-Standard Solutions: deliver step-by-step, benchmarking answers with financials and frameworks for AI training.
• Audit AI Outputs: assess AI-generated plans and forecasts for logical consistency and accuracy.
• Sharpen AI Reasoning: document and provide actionable feedback on reasoning gaps and misapplied assumptions.

What You'll Do

• Design Complex Business Challenges: Build advanced case studies, quantitative problems, and strategic scenarios spanning DCF valuation, market entry strategy, supply chain optimization, cap table modeling, and organizational behavior
• Author Gold-Standard Solutions: Write rigorous, step-by-step responses — complete with financial statements, established frameworks (4Ps, 5Cs, Porter's Five Forces), and executive-level strategic rationales — that serve as benchmark answers for AI training
• Audit AI Outputs: Evaluate AI-generated business plans, financial forecasts, and case analyses for logical consistency, mathematical accuracy, and adherence to professional business standards
• Sharpen AI Reasoning: Identify and document reasoning failures — such as ignoring sunk costs, miscalculating WACC, or misapplying macroeconomic assumptions — and provide structured, actionable feedback

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
• Strong foundational expertise in at least two core business disciplines: Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Strategic Management
• Able to synthesize complex data and analysis into clear, executive-style recommendations
• Precise and detail-oriented when reviewing financial formulas, data interpretation, and the logical integrity of business arguments
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on an asynchronous schedule
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Background in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy
• Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows
