Job summary

Archmill House Inc. is seeking a Business Administration Intern to support operations, ensuring accurate information and smooth day-to-day processes. You will work with Project Managers, Site Managers, and internal teams to gain broad exposure within a growing construction organization.

This role offers hands-on experience with business systems, project administration, and cross-functional coordination, in a collaborative, in-person environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations, Accounting, or another related field.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Positive, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable working with a variety of teams and personalities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of systems and databases (i.e. Procore, Business Central, Concur, etc.).
  • Support in-market employees with job costing by entering project details and hours of work into timesheets.
  • Follow up with Project Managers and Site Managers to retrieve project details, supporting documentation, receipts, and other business documents.
  • Process and submit expense receipts and allocate expenses to the appropriate projects.
  • Support project-related administrative and documentation requirements.
  • Assist Project Managers and Site Managers with basic administrative tasks and follow-up.
  • Help ensure project information and documentation is complete and up to date and project records are organized.
  • Assist various departments with general administrative and office operations.
  • Support document preparation, filing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist with office organization, supplies, and other day-to-day operational needs.
  • Provide support to other teams and special projects as required.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Administration Intern provides hands‑on support to help streamline business operations. This role works closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and internal teams to help ensure accurate information, timely administrative processes, and smooth day‑to‑day operations.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the operations of a growing construction organization while developing skills in business systems, project administration, and cross‑functional coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with the administration and maintenance of systems and databases (i.e. Procore, Business Central, Concur, etc.).

WORK CONDITIONS

  • May be required to visit job sites or manufacturing facilities and wear appropriate PPE.
