Job description

Bus drivers play an important role in the Canadian transport system. We are looking for qualified professionals to fill the Bus Driver position.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Operate buses to transport passengers along scheduled routes or for chartered trips.
  2. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
  3. Collect fares and issue tickets if applicable.
  4. Adhere to traffic regulations and follow designated routes.
  5. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical integrity of the bus.
  6. Communicate with passengers regarding schedules, stops, and safety instructions.
  7. Handle unexpected situations or emergencies professionally and calmly.
  8. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with passengers. Keep accurate records of driving hours, mileage, and passenger counts.
  9. Collaborate with dispatchers or transportation coordinators for scheduling and route adjustments.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience.
  2. Licensed to operate a public passenger vehicle (Licensed as PPV).
Education:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
