Position Details

This position will not start until August. Drivers for Crystal Flash (CF) are valued team members responsible for delivering fuels to customer or company locations safely and efficiently. The role requires supporting the company's mission and demonstrating values such as integrity, safety, environmental protection, customer service, open communication, diversity, teamwork, and financial responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate commercial vehicles Monday through Friday and occasionally on weekends, in all weather conditions.
• Load, unload, and transport fuels and propane from the plant to customer or company locations promptly.
• Follow company policies and federal/state regulations.
• Maintain a safe record regarding accidents, driving history, injuries, and safety actions, adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Keep equipment, uniforms, and vehicle interior clean; communicate repairs promptly.
• Complete accurate documentation for deliveries, including volume and inventory management.
• Use internal systems, handheld devices, and electronic equipment appropriately.
• Follow delivery instructions from dispatchers and managers, maintaining good communication and relationships.
• Communicate professionally with team members, management, and customers.
• Remain calm and composed in stressful situations and be receptive to new methods and procedures.
• Offer suggestions for efficiency improvements and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, CDL-B with Air/Tanker/Hazmat endorsements, and CETP certification (preferred). Requirements include:

• At least 21 years old with a Class B CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required upon hiring.
• CTEP certification within the first year if handling propane.
• Minimum one year of truck driving experience preferred.
• Three months of driving experience post-truck driving school graduation.
• No recent BACs, DUIs, or DWIs within 10 years.
• No license suspensions for moving violations in the past 5 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the past year.
• No reckless driving convictions in the last 3 years.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug tests.
• Willingness to work on rotational on-call nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of driving safety rules, vehicle mechanics, and hazardous materials (preferred).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
