Qualifications

  • Class 1 Driver’s License to operate a tractor trailer and Super B experience preferred.
  • Experience hauling unstable loads and working independently.
  • Must obtain Milk Grader’s License (training provided) and pass a company driving test.
  • Clear driver’s abstract and medical clearance required.
  • Strong time and task management with solid written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Safe and efficient operation of bulk transport vehicle.
  • Adhere to safety practices and procedures.
  • Adhere to Dairy Industry Act and Regulations.
  • Follow applicable Transportation regulations, OH&S, and National Safety Code.
  • Maintain strong communication with peers, customers, and Lead Hand/Route foreman.
  • Fuel vehicle, check oil, and report required repairs/maintenance.
  • Maintain logbooks/records on mileage and report accidents promptly.
  • Load and unload truck with minimal to no product loss.
  • Clean exterior and inside the tanks of bulk milk trucks.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and clean work habits.
  • Climb ladders to check tank levels and cleanliness.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Job description

The Bulk Milk Tanker Driver will rotate shifts with other drivers including weekends. They are responsible for operating a tractor with tanker in a safe and appropriate manner. Driver’s must conduct all activities in accordance with the Dairy Industry Act and Regulation and with company policies and procedures. All activities must also be completed in a respectful manner, towards customers, other drivers, the public, and management. Drivers must report any complaints and or respond in a courteous and respectful manner. One great opportunity that you will have as a Bulk Milk Tanker Driver is you will be home every single day.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Class 1 Driver’s License to operate and drive a tractor trailer – Super B experience preferred
  • Experience hauling unstable loads
  • Must obtain Milk Grader’s License (training will be provided)
  • Must pass a company driving test and medical
  • Reasonably clean drivers abstract
