Job description

Reporting to the Station Manager and under the supervision of the Supervisor, the Bulk Driver’s primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining field equipment, performing shop maintenance, and supporting operational activities. This position collaborates closely with Greenhands and Operators and is considered safety-sensitive.

Job Responsibilities

1. Transport blended cement powder and other materials from the bulk plant to field locations.
2. Offload cement powder into field storage silos or cement pumpers during mixing operations.
3. Assist with rigging in and out, mixing, pumping, and site cleanup.
4. Ensure efficient handling of daily operations.
5. Maintain documentation in the vehicle at all times.
6. Maintain pneumatic bulk equipment for efficient product delivery.
7. Inspect and perform shop maintenance on field equipment regularly.
8. Perform maintenance on bulk tractor and trailer, including greasing, oil changes, and weekly inspections.
9. Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments such as Sales and Dispatch.
10. Build and sustain strong relationships with external and internal clients, supporting company values.
11. Follow and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with HSE and DOT regulations.
12. Establish procedures to maintain high service levels.
13. Participate in training and development programs.
14. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications - Required

1. Valid Class 1 (Canada) / Class A CDL (U.S.) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
2. Physically capable of lifting objects up to 23 kg, and able to bend, stand, and climb repeatedly.
3. Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
4. On call 24 hours on a 15-day schedule, with 6 days off (schedule subject to change).
5. Comfortable working in congested or confined areas, with exposure to noise and vibration.
6. Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
