We have an opportunity for a Building Surveyor, specialising in Reinstatement Cost assessments to join our diverse, passionate and thought-leading team. Zurich Resilience Solutions is pivotal to supporting our customers internally and externally, with market-leading risk management solutions which include onsite assessment, desktop assessment, account management, thought leadership advice and much more.

This is a diverse and rewarding role involving providing assessments of building reinstatement costs for insurance purposes in accordance with relevant building regulations to a range of public sector and commercial clients.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in reinstatement surveying who is eager to grow and develop their skills within a fast-paced, energetic, and dynamic organisation. The role is home-based with flexibility to attend any office if preferred.

What will you be doing?

  • Travel on average 2-3 days per week to customer premises to undertake physical reinstatement cost assessments in accordance with RICS standards.
  • Reviewing internal and open-source data to conduct desktop reinstatement cost assessments.
  • Preparing and presenting customer property reports to support business cases, including statements of need with accurate measurements, sites, and premises.
  • Travel to customer premises for site inspections.
  • Contributing to thought leadership and providing technical insights to customers and partners in both the commercial and residential sectors.

  • A full UK driving licence
